As an Air France Business Class passenger, you have access to an exclusive check-in area to speed up your arrival procedures.
Business Class passengers have exclusive access the dedicated Air France lounges located at many of their major destinations. If a dedicated lounge is not available, the airline is part of the Skyteam Alliance which has a further 350 lounges around the globe.
The Air France Lounge at Charles De Gaulle has a dedicated Clarins day spa.
The Air France Business Class Seat
The business class cabin is of contemporary design and has an elegant modern feel. The seats or ‘cacoons’ as Air France likes to call them have been designed specifically for the French airline in conjunction with Zodiac Aerospace. The cabin is laid out in a 1-2-1 configuration giving each Air France Business Class seat direct aisle access.
Once onboard, business class passengers are welcomed with a glass of French champagne or a non-alcoholic drink. After takeoff, cabin crew will also present you with a handy in-flight Air France amenity pack featuring: A dental care kit, comb, Clarins hydrating lotion and more.
The cacoon-like seats have been designed to offer a good amount of privacy whilst maintaining window contact at all times. In the upright position, it is hard to make direct eye contact with the people around you, but a slight lean forward allows you to converse easily with your travel companion (particularly in the middle seats).
The Seat Transforms Into A Lay-Flat Bed
Each seat transforms into a lay-flat bed (nearly 2m in length). In the flat position, the armrest lowers to allow even more width while sleeping. Your Air France Cabin Crew will offer a turndown service where they will make your bed up with a feather down pillow, a comfy mattress overlay, and a cozy duvet.
To the side of each seat is a large multipurpose area featuring a side table and handy storage cupboard to stow your travel items. The cupboard door is also fitted with a personal mirror. A pull out tray table is available during meal service and also provides room for a laptop. To the side of the seat are charging stations to keep your devices powered up. Most of Air France’s 787, 777 and A380 long-haul fleets now feature in-flight wifi to keep you connected.
Air France Business Class passengers are presented with an extensive wine list where they will have a chance to rediscover their favorite French wines or discover new wines from almost every region in France. All Air France Cabin Crew receive sommelier training. Onboard champagne and wine are served in elegant glassware designed by Jean-Marie Massaud.
The Air France Business Class seat has a 16-inch touchscreen TV featuring the airline’s extensive in-flight entertainment system. Inside your side cupboard, you will also find a set of noise-canceling headphones.
The Air France culinary voyage has been designed by some of the countries best Michelin starred chefs, Guy Martin, Michel Roth and Regis Marcon. Passengers are presented with an a la carte menu featuring customized dishes depending on what region you are flying to. You can also expect a range of sweet and savory delicacies: fruits, aperitifs, appetizers, fine cheeses, sorbets, and pastries. Passengers can also personalize their meals online to suit their tastes and dietary requirements.
